2013-03-07 | Europeana has published its Business Plan 2013. The main area of focus is to develop Europeana into a Core Service Platform by creating and developing interoperable ressources and standards (e. g. the Europeana Data Model, the Licensing Framework and the API). Both the cultural heritage sector and the creative industries should benefit from this work to build new end-user services. The Europeana office will also concentrate on showcasing the value of opening up the metada. More than 20 Million metadata are realease under the CC0 waiver, new services shall bring more visibility and re-usage  for the content in Europeana.
